Aniline leather is a type of leather dyed exclusively with soluble dyes without covering the surface with a topcoat paint or insoluble pigments. The resulting product retains the hide's natural surface with the 'grain', i.e. visible pores, scars etc. of the complete original animal's skin structure. Bella Bianca is featuring a new leather in its product range, introducing "Go-Natural" , which is a full aniline leather, rich in colour with a soft silky feel.
Natural Aniline Leather :
Since leather is a perishable material, people started early on to develop appropriate methods to stabilise the raw animal hides, and make them more durable. This process is called tanning. Vegetable tanning is to process the hides in a pure and natural way without using harmful chemicals.. Vegetable-tanned leather shows the natural fibers of the animal hide
